Caring for your merino wool beanie

Hand wash (recommended)

• use lukewarm water (approx. 30°C)
• add a special wool detergent, ideally with lanolin
• leave to soak, then press gently without rubbing
• rinse at the same temperature
• do not twist, press gently to remove water

Machine washable (at your own risk)

• wool or delicate program – 30 °C
• gentle spin (400-600 rpm maximum)
• use a special wool detergent
• do not use fabric softener

Drying

• do not use a tumble dryer
• dry flat by reshaping the cap
• avoid drying directly in the sun or on a radiator

Merino wool is naturally antibacterial, so airing the hat is often enough to refresh it.

About wool pilling

Pilling is a natural phenomenon in wool fibers and is not a product defect. Under the effect of friction, small fibers may appear on the surface of the fabric and form small balls.

Simply use a textile razor or a special wool brush to remove them easily.
